I sent a frantic post in mid March on a C-Section preemie litter of 8 in
which 4 had died within 24 to 36 hours. The mother had been
immediately put on medications which prevented her from being with the
puppies at all. The puppies were a week premature. They had
to be taken because of the pressure on the dam's diaphragm. They
were killing her. There were 4 puppies left and all they had was me. After more than four weeks of never seeing my bed and approximately 2-3 hours total sleep per day, I am happy to announce that the 4 remaining puppies are alive and well. They are 10 weeks old today. These puppies never once had the pleasure of snuggling or nursing a mom. Two puppies have gone to their new homes. I am attaching pictures of the two puppies that I will be *watching* for awhile.
