Each
year our State Kennel Association runs an inter-club obedience
competition. The comp runs over two days, and the highest scoring
team of any level (Novice, Open or UD) wins a perpetual trophy.
The club Tor and I belong to has unsuccessfully tried to win the
perpetual trophy for the last nine years. The winners have always been
teams comprising Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, and some such.
For the first time, our club's team contained three MS. Actually,
it's the first time that any team had MS members! To cut the long
story short WE WON! As far as I'm concerned, it's the MS that made
the difference<VBG>.
I am attaching a studio photo of the winning team. The three prima
donnas are unmistakably MS <LOL>. Tor is the one on the
right, Tor's father (Jack) is on the left, and Holy (a girl) is in the
middle. Tor and Holy are descendants of a Feldmar import.
Incidentally, the MSs were the only ones not to have a hysterical fit
about all the bright lights and other paraphenalia of a photo studio,
and looked down in disdain at the "unacceptable behaviour" of
the other two members (Std Poodle and Belgian Shepherd).
